Teaching Skills Certification Series
The series of courses are designed to take teachers through the most important basics of vocational teaching. The courses are appropriate for massage school teachers, continuing education instructors, and those who aspire to teach at the professional level. Participants can expect to explore principles of adult learning theory, become more comfortable with the essential paperwork required of a professional instructor, and improve their presentation and classroom management skills. The classes provide teachers with the basic knowledge and skills they need to teach competently.
The classes can be taken in any order except where noted. Written tests with a passing grade in each class are required for certification. On-line structured study is coming soon. A total of 50 CE is offered.

- Teacher Demonstration – technique and timing

- Students have an opportunity to do a live demonstration and receive help and feedback from the instructor.
Best Practices: Teaching Cognitive Skills (Prerequisite Course Design Level 1 or permission of the instructor)- 4CE
- Review/overview of teaching methods with a focus on constructive teaching methods
- A look at level 2 and level 3 learning activities
